Being in business for 22 years, we’ve learned that relationships are everything, and as Harmony embarks on its next chapter under new ownership (long-time employee Tommy Calloway has taken the reigns as President/CEO while Founders Scott and Sam Varn step back and focus on their nonprofit, Preserving a Picturesque America, we wanted to reflect on some of the long-standing clients we’ve helped again and again with all their AV needs. We’ve had clients come back to us again and again for updates, new projects, and service calls, and plenty have been generous enough to refer us to their neighbors, friends, and family. One of our proudest accomplishments to date is being trusted by dozens of Asheville area commercial spaces who depend on quality Audio, Visual, and Lighting systems to lure in customers and make their spaces inviting, which helps feed their business’s bottom line. Seeing these projects come to fruition gives us a great sense of pride because we’ve seen these entrepreneurs start with a concept, then we’re with them all the way to opening day, when they’ll often pour us a drink or give us a meal as a thank you on that final installation and training day.

Running a business–especially in the times of COVID–is no small feat, and it warms our hearts that we get to be part of their dream, even in a small way. One of our recent projects, The Olde London Pub at its new location in the River Arts District, heavily relies on a quality AV system because it’s a soccer pub with tons of screens that must be easy to use and work perfectly since they show games at all hours of the day. These games are part of their business model and how they get folks in the door, and it is a fabulous feeling to be able to help support other local businesses by installing quality systems that they and their customers love.

Recently, our new President/CEO Tommy Calloway on the phone with the owner of Rabbit Rabbit, a new outdoor venue that’s a collaboration between The Orange Peel and Asheville Brewing Company. The banter, camaraderie, and comfortability between our team and Mike is something we’re proud of as we know he trusts us to deliver what he needs to continue making his business a success. We’ll also be working on another project at one of his other locations, and we can’t wait to enjoy this concept as patrons later this year.

And our residential customers know that if places like The Biltmore, America’s Largest Private Home, can trust us with their AV and lighting needs, that they can, too. We’ve been fortunate to work at some incredible private homes in the greater Asheville area as well and helping clients bring their visions to light makes our jobs so fun and meaningful. We truly appreciate every client that has trusted us to design their custom entertainment spaces indoors and outdoors, and we can’t wait to see what new projects come our way this year–we especially geek out over theme concepts like a Star Wars or Lord of the Rings home theater.

To all of our clients past, present, and future, we thank you for choosing us. New construction projects can take more than a year from when we first sit down and hash out their plans to that final day when we show them how to use their new systems so they can watch the big game, entertain friends, or have an awesome movie night at home with family. Whatever your dreams are for a beautiful entertainment space, we’d love to partner with you to help enhance your quality of life with easy-to-use AV and lighting systems that make your home or business be in harmony with your life and work.
